The Queen Mother's 80th birthday is celebrated with a photo record of her sense of style over the years and "Vogue living" features Erté in his immaculate Paris home/studio - the man is a total inspiration. The 200 pages are packed full of so much info about this creative time with some fascinating facts and images to be found. There is some water damage causing slight 'rippling' to the bottom of some of the pages and the covers(the worst can be seen in the photos), graduating from 1-68 and the last 181-200 which does little to detract from the enjoyment of their contents. Also, the covers are marked underneath the model's lips on the front, and with several,very faint 'cup circle' stains on the back. Despite this, the overall condition is very good.
