Buy an original copy of Vogue 1970 June. Maudie James (who graced 12 covers between 1968 September and 1973 June) is on the cover photographed by Clive Arrowsmith. This really is one of Vogues most beautiful images which so captures the free spiritedness of the time wearing a head and neck dress by Pablo & Delia. In the hey day of Mary Quant who has a 2 page ad with the strap line "Make up to Make love in". Who remembers John Updike, The Chelsea Cobbler, Zandra Rhodes, John Bates, Quorum, Ossie Clark, Thea Porter, Mick Jagger as Ned Kelly, Scholls, Gossard Wonder bras, Limmits....? Amongst so many other evocative things there is even  an article about the young, up and coming, marvellous Maggie Smith. The 168 precious pages and covers are in good condition for their age. A splendid piece of social history.
