Buy an original copy of Vogue 1960 mid September (this month has 2 issues). The cover photograph was taken by Frances McLaughlin-Gill but there is no mention of the model even though she is used for most of the fashion shots on the inside pages including those taken at Anthony Denney's house in Hammersmith. Many, many adverts featuring the new nylon fabrics in all their forms - bri-nylon, terelene, crimpelene, draylon etc. what a bad idea that was given the terrible long term impact these oil based fibres have on the environment. Salvador Dali and his jewellery have a 2 page spread. The swinging sixties, which were rather sedate as seen by Vogue, are still very interesting. The covers and 162 pages are in remarkably good, unread condition.
