Buy Vogue December 2019. This cover photograph, by Alasdair McLellan, is of Emma Watson wearing a ruffle mini dress by Alexander McQueen, also she is interviewed inside. There is no mention of Christmas and the outside cover shot gives no clue that it is the festive season apart from the dress being red. How sad that the indigenous culture of these once proud islands, is so studiously ignored. In fact, I struggled to even find the word Christmas any where in the issue until I came to the last page and and a very short interview with Mariah Carey (but then her song about this season is her signature tune). There is a very strange ( in a mediocre rather than nice way), photo shoot taken in Mexico leaving the question 'why?' hanging in the air (surprisingly it was taken by the wonderful Tim Walker, whatever happened?). The top edge of the fold out, front cover (by the letter 'V') has a 1cm tear which has been carefully repaired, but the rest of the issue, with its info packed 284 pages, is in very, very good condition.
